Global Incubator Network

Strategem project manage the Global Incubator Network on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government and Scottish Enterprise. The Global Incubator Network is an online portal of business incubators committed to sharing the best practice and developing business opportunities.  GIN has two key objectives to provide a tool used by incubating companies win business and develop their own company and to provide best practice information and up to date data that allows Business Incubators to offer the best service and facilitates to their companies. Over 100 incubators from across the globe are registered to GIN representing several hundred high growth stars of the future. 

VisitScotland

This £6m project brought together the existing fourteen Area Tourist Boards and VisitScotland into one integrated, national tourism body as part of the commitment to grow the industry by 50% by 2015. Strategem were responsible for the project management of the transition of the Area Tourist Boards; developing transition plans for all business areas of VisitScotland; tracking and reporting against identified milestones, issues, risks and dependencies; and ensuring that Scotland had a fully integrated tourism body by the deadline date.

Tourism Innovation Development Award

For the past five years Strategem has delivered the Tourism Innovation Development Awards on behalf of Scottish Enterprise.  The project is designed to help tourism companies with innovative ideas make these ideas a successful reality.  So far twelve rounds of awards have been successfully completed. The project involves designing the awards process and the criteria to be applied to the judging process, advising potential applicants and mentoring award winners.  Each award winner is allocated a mentor who consults with them to ensure that their innovation is brought to market / commercialised. There have been 31 winners of the award to date with 27 successfully launching to market thus far.

Ayrshire Innovation Centre

Strategem project manage this business incubator in Irvine, Ayrshire.  The centre boasts 14 office suites for high growth potential companies, a state of the art PC training suite, eBusiness Demonstration Centre and full service conference facilities.  Strategem provide facilities management, event management, marketing, budget control and overall project management.  The centre is one of Scotland’s leading business incubators.
